Mona Lisa is the other half of the David joke, and the better-known one. Febo splits her pink/lime, keeps the folded hands and the stare, and covers the smile — the whole reason people stand in front of the painting — with a silver glitter disc. Warhol already made her a print. Febo makes her a Pop object you cannot quite look in the mouth. The overlay is the craft: paint panels showing through the film, glitter sitting on top.
