A koi the size of the sky swims over a flooded park: trees in the water, a rose arch, small horses, gold light. Heaven as a pond you could walk into. Soft, not sarcastic — the later, gentler Tanaka.
This is the picture for a bedroom or a quiet living wall. No dollar signs, no argument. Just the wish that the world could be this wet and gold. People who buy ponds from him are usually buying a mood they want to keep.
