A close portrait: pale face, pink hair, gold dollar signs and hearts packed into the background. The collector as the subject — money and love in the same wallpaper. Small canvas, thick paint.
Hanging this in a collection is a private joke that stays kind. It is a portrait of the person looking at it. Money and love, both in the ground, neither winning. The right small picture for someone who already knows they are the subject.
