New works by Takuma Tanaka explore consciousness, intuition, and the power of feeling through expressive abstraction, figuration, and vibrant colour.
The Wall Art Gallery is pleased to present “Don’t Think, Feel, a solo exhibition of new paintings by Japanese contemporary artist Takuma Tanaka. Opening on June 13, 2026 during Wynwood Art Walk, the exhibition runs through June 30, 2026 at The Wall Art Gallery, 50 NW 27th St, Wynwood, Miami. Tanaka will attend the opening, travelling from Japan.
Tanaka’s vibrant, expressive paintings explore consciousness, intuition, and the space between overthinking and pure feeling. Blending abstraction and figuration with text, layered imagery, and luminous colour, the works draw on motifs from skulls and nature to emotional and philosophical experience. Bruce Lee’s directive “Dont think, feel” serves as both inspiration and a guiding idea for this new body of work.
With a practice informed by art, psychology, sociology, and lived experience, Tanaka expands his earlier social commentary into a more personal, intuitive territory while maintaining his energetic brushwork and vivid palette. The Wall Art Gallery is delighted to present this body of work in Wynwood, inviting viewers to experience paintings that move both the eye and the mind.
