This artwork is inspired by a philosophy on existence through existentialism and the purpose of life in relation to the universe. This coconut charcoal, acrylic and oil painting on fine art rolled canvas is an expression of life through thought, emotion with fine art realism, expressionism and abstract styles. Coconut charcoal provides the representational structure for the woman’s face with man sitting on the edge fishing for the moon above, using a unique and also made up technique with paint brushes. A wild mix of acrylic universe themed colours are splashed for an expressive effect for both movement and emotion in what is referred to as a unique creation in ‘Motusrealism’. Some sparkle medium splashes throughout for shine effect at various angles. Oil paint in white throughout for highlights and extra realism.
The limited edition consists of 50 prints total, across all sizes. Hand embellished sections are painted by Ashvin himself. Artwork ships rolled, with 1.5-inch (4 cm) mirrored edges beyond the artwork size (gallery wrap) so the image continues on the sides of the stretcher, ready to stretch. Each print is shipped rolled in a protective tube, with complimentary shipping worldwide.
