Aurélien Couput Francés, 1979
Aurélien nació y creció en Francia, donde se graduó de la École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts en París y de la Haute École dʼArt et de Design en Ginebra. Completó una Maestría en Bellas Artes en la Escuela de Artes de la Universidad de Columbia en mayo de 2013. Su práctica incluye fotografía, grabado, dibujo y pintura. Aurélien ha recibido reconocimiento internacional por su trabajo y fue galardonado con el Prix de la Foire International de Dessin (FID) en París, el Premio Internacional de Fotografía Raymond Weil y el 8º Premio de Jóvenes Artistas de LVMH. Fue destacado en la publicación New American Paintings MFA Annual #99. Es profesor adjunto en la Escuela de Artes de la Universidad de Columbia, y su trabajo ha sido exhibido en Nueva York, París, Alemania, Suiza, Japón, España y China. Actualmente, el artista vive y trabaja en la ciudad de Nueva York.
