A child-scale figure on a pink path, white cloud-hair, dark eyes, a red scoop in the hands; pink-trunked trees; blue Fuji under an orange sky. Tree Man / head-as-weather, in miniature. Title is the picture: the cloud is coming out of the head.
This is the intimate Fuji. Small enough for a desk wall, strange enough to keep looking. Thought as weather. For someone who wants Japan in the room without a souvenir. Do not credit Ulster Museum on this work.
