“I hold in my heart the memory of the great Pre-Columbian spheres built in Costa Rica more than 2000 years ago and I wanted to make a sculpture that sings a lullaby to one of the spheres. That’s why I started to model at first in plaster and later in bronze, this grand sculpture that lulls and caresses a great hammered sphere, a remembrance of my ancestral memory.“
