"Compass to Canaan +002" is a breathtaking shift in tone and atmosphere. It's cool, ethereal, yet still rooted in a sense of elemental rawness. The interplay of silvery blues, pale golds, and mottled texture gives it the look of weathered metal or a frozen celestial body, touched by erosion or time. There’s a quiet radiance at the center, like a distant star diffused through a frost-covered lens, while the lower portion—marked by a wound-like fissure—grounds the composition with something earthly, almost sacred.
